I stumbled onto this blog by accident through a photo posted on instagram by The Feather Junkie. As I started snooping through cult of style’s instagram I saw they were doing a giveaway and clicked on their blog link not expecting much since I had never heard of them. I was seriously so surprised! Being a designer/stylist I’m always searching for photos that can capture a vision. I was so impressed by how effortless their product shots appeared! I love how the product is highlighted in such a natural everyday setting. If your a fan of Free People or trends in general you will become obsessed! Also, check out their pinterest for more inspiration.

Ok, so started a little trend on instagram #daysoftheweek… Basically you take elements from your day, arrange them neatly and tag them with the specific day of the week (#mymonday). Stoked it’s catching on and people are sharing the details of their everyday life! Simple yet interesting and inspiring. If you take a shot, tag me so I can see @ericaleecraig.
Stayin’ true to my roots and supporting the local businesses, I’ve gotta fill you guys in on one of my favorite Hawaiian Brands, 808 ALL DAY. Fairly new to the scene, they’ve got some great (surf style) gear for you to live aloha, even on da mainland.
Pretty sure that starts with the 51-30. Nixon, doing it again… love this ad! I love companies who can destroy their product in an advertisement and it just makes it that much more appealing to the target audience. Sexy, Intelligent & Cool!
Probably my all-time favorite accessories brand hands down, the nautical undertone may have something to do with this. The craftsmanship of each piece is exquisite and it literally feels like your wearing pirates treasure. And besides that, Philip is just the friggin’ man! Check them out, order a piece (it’s not cheap but remember you get what you pay for). Quality, Craftsmanship and an Effortless Cool is the standard for GILES & BROTHER.
Another gem by R+I Creative (@ricreative). Coltrane Curtis (an MTV/Viacom VJ and television personality) talks about the influence of Jazz musicians (Ellington, Davis, Marsalis, Def) on his personal style.
